About us

Family run, La Ferme du Lac is a 17th century restored farmhouse nestling at the bottom of a 25 acre wooded valley in one of the most beautiful areas of France.

The location is stunning. A private valley with a dammed lake at one end, farmhouse and out-buildings in the middle and a riverside meadow with timber cottages and camping spaces at the far end. What more could you ask for! 

The night sky here at La Ferme du Lac is phenomenal. Equally, you will find the sunsets to be magnificent, and the sunrises are pretty spectacular too. The early morning mist rolling off the lake, with kingfishers flying by, is a sight to behold.

All in all La Ferme du Lac is the ideal place for a family holiday in high season, and while children are always welcome, it tends to be couples and groups that we see out of the high season.
